INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ERAC 2024

As part of the Jean Monnet module EU-GlobalAct, project leader and IPO Slovenia member, Assistant Professor Dr. Janja Mikulan, attended the international conference ERAC 2024 - Emergency Response and Awareness Conference on April 11, 2024. Top domestic and international experts presented relevant and current topics such as aggression, violence in the school environment, terrorist attacks, various activities of the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, the use of technology in crisis situations, and more. A common theme of both the EU-GlobalAct module and ERAC is the understanding that successful prevention and addressing of diverse crises require deep relationships, a connected and aware community, and cooperation.

Congratulations to IPO (International Police Organization) Slovenia for the excellent organization of the event during this critical time, unfortunately marked by intolerance, violence, and natural disasters, making security an increasing need and desire both at home and around the world.
