16th SSSC

At the end of October 2023, the Faculty of Applied Social Studies (FUDŠ) hosted the sixteenth Slovenian Social Science Conference (SSSC) and the second Jean Monnet Day. As part of the latter, one of the thematic sections was conducted under the auspices of the Jean Monnet Module project EU-GlobalAct. The project leader and thematic section head, Assistant Professor Dr. Janja Mikulan, presented the fundamental ideas of her project and her own research on the topic of vulnerability and resilience to radicalization and violent extremism in Slovenia. This research was conducted in collaboration with her colleague Martina Malinović. The section also featured participation from Amna Ben Amara from Tunisia, who presented on the topics of populism and security policies.
